Journey of an Engagement ring.....
The journey of a platinum/diamond engagement ring. The ring was formerly made with a smaller square head, for a princess cut , which wasn't going to work out well for the round .90ct we had sent in especially for this ring. I cut it out-and started from scratch. Here you'll see some insight to the process....all done within 24 hrs (3 hours of refitting a new head+1 hr of setting the diamond). The end result: Happiness & Gratitude. :)
(Thankyou Ben, for providing the "location" photos ...how sweet! )

Remounting Designs
A lost diamond resurfaced again in an unusual place.......client joyfully brought it to me to reset into a classic style, but with a twist. We recycled 10 small diamonds from an old ring to add within this mounting.....set within the weave design!
Beautiful ring for my client....who provided the diamond and the yellow band in the center. With a new 6 prong head and a white gold split shank, the results are amazing!

Afew Recent Projects
Pretty 14kt w Engagement featuring an emerald and 4 diamonds....
Delightful Oval Cut diamond stud earrings.....weighing 1.57ct tw! I set them in 14ktw scroll mounting and added screw backs.
Gorgeous addition to my client's beautiful ring, those center diamonds are meaningful & are set in a graduated fashion to fit well into the overall design.

New Earring Design
Quite simple in design, I made these earrings from leftover parts and pieces.......and the results was better than I expected! I've decided to make some more now, in a variety of stone colors and perhaps using synthetic stones & semi-precious to keep the cost modest. The entire earring is made of solid sterling silver and I will add color stone of your choice......I am planning on emerald cut (shown) and also oval. Both 9x7mm. Let me know your color/shape preference, the price is $42 pr.

Jewelry-from the Bench
Happy to be working with my love affair--- Jewelry!
Recycled creation:
A lovely pendant set with diamonds that were slightly chipped/nicked, yet still worthy of a setting. I chose this cluster top to suit the stones, disguising the imperfections withing the low-profile setting/prongs.
Refurbished and brought back to life! This very old 18kt mounting came to us with only the 2 diamonds and the 2 triangle cut sapphires.....the rest of the sapphires, including the large center, were all fit and set for the client. Some new milgrain(small border beading) detail work had to be added and some sizer balls added to the shank as well.

Wedding Jewelry
Photographs courtesy of Jennifer Grayson, my sister-in-law. She handled the photography for the wedding which I did the jewelry for the newlyweds and the entire bridal party. I have created bridal party jewelry at least 50 times over the years, and this is the first time I have a photo to display the bridesmaids wearing them!
The platinum diamond wedding band (ladies) was custom made to match the antique engagement ring.
The men's band is titanium, which was a first time for me.....so very lightweight, yet unbelievably strong! It can only be sized 1/4 of a size, so ordering the proper size is key, but it is overall an excellent choice, and a wonderful alternative to white gold or platinum. Pretty ladies (and little young lady!) adorned with large round pearl (tin-cup style) necklaces and pearl drop earrings to match.
